Our boat is a 26 foot Alamar Sounder, a boat with a reputation as an extremely capable and solid fishing boat. Named by Captain Ben’s daughter Annie, who loved to request going faster and faster, hence the name “Fastermore”. It’s big enough to comfortably host 7 passengers, yet small enough to navigate Sitka’s coves and get you close to the action. An enclosed cabin provides extra protection against the elements.
